Choosing to level up your car, truck, or suv can be a big commitment. Here are some questions and answers I hear from customers about vinyl decals and wraps:

A: A vehicle wrap is a graphic or solid colored vinyl that covers and protects your vehicle, usually to change the appearance in some way. A vehicle wrap is removable and protective.

A: Generally a wrap will stay in good condition for 3-5 years if it’s properly maintained. The vehicle vinyl we use is designed to last 5-7 years on vertical surfaces. Washing your vehicle on a regular basis and avoiding pressure washing and car washes with jets will help maintain the integrity of the wrap.

A: Not at all. The car wrap will even protect your OEM paint. However, if the paintwork is not in good condition to begin with—for instance, if paint is chipping off—then the wrap may pull off the chipping paint when it is removed.

A: We have a variety of car wrapping materials to cater to our clients’ needs. Our vinyl wrapping film can have gloss, semi-gloss, matte, carbon fiber, metallic, chrome, and brushed steel finishes.

A: Mild soap and water will do fine. We do recommend that the vehicle is washed regularly, as road grime can cause vehicle wrap fatigue and negate the vinyl manufacturer’s warranty.

A: We try everything we can do to not have seams. However, some vehicles have complex shapes where seams are utilized to prevent premature failure of the wrap. The finished product may have some small imperfections due to the nature of the service.
